The licence granted by CySEC to operate as a CIF, gives the opportunity to provide the following services:

Investment Services and Activities Ancillary Services
  • Reception and transmission of orders;
  • Execution of orders on behalf of clients;
  • Portfolio management;
  • Dealing on own account;
  • Investment advice;
  • Underwriting and/or placing of financial instruments on a firm commitment basis;
  • Placing of financial instruments without a firm commitment basis;
  • Operation of Multilateral Trading Facilities (“MTF”).
  • Safekeeping and administration of financial instruments;
  • Safe custody services;
  • Granting credits or loans to an investor for transaction purposes;

  • Services related to underwriting.

The authorisation of a Cyprus Investment Firm may cover one or more of the ancillary services, however, authorisation in no case will be granted solely for the provision of ancillary services.

A  Cyprus Investment Firm seeking authorisation to extend its business activities to additional investment services or ancillary services not granted at the time of initial authorisation has to submit a request for extension of its authorisation.

We are then in a position to assign our professional team to apply for the extension of a licence in accordance with their requirements and business model required.
